Scenes from the 51st annual Sunriser Lions Family Ice Fishing Derby at Smith Lake in Kila on Saturday, Jan. 7. Montana Walleyes Unlimited handed out 100 fishing rods and reels to kids under the age of 12 who caught a fish. The derby is in its 51st year and is the oldest ice fishing contest in the state of Montana, according to Warren Illi of Walleyes Unlimited.
