Snow Ball benefit event
DREAM Adaptive Recreation is holding its annual Snow Ball event on Friday, March 3.
This event will bring the community together to celebrate the accomplishments and highlights of the continued demand for DREAM’s life-changing services.
Local favorite band, Archertown, will be the musical performers. Emcee-pro Janice Lake and Auctioneer Tomy Parker, a combat-wounded Veteran and adaptive athlete from Ronan, will lead the evening that includes participant and volunteer stories and organizational updates.
General ticket sales opened on Jan. 20 and are expected to go quickly.
In addition, DREAM Adaptive Recreation is accepting in-kind donations until Feb. 1.
There is a limited room block at The Lodge at Whitefish Lake that have been made available for Snow Ball guests, by calling 406-863-4000.

Father-Daughter Winter Ball
The Whitefish Theatre Company is holding its eighth annual Father-Daughter Winter Ball on Friday, Jan. 27. This special evening takes place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the O’Shaughnessy Center in Whitefish and is open to fathers and daughters of all ages.
Although most of the night will be spent out on the dance floor with a professional DJ, guests will also be provided with desserts, beverages and a chance to take part in a fun-filled photo booth session. Dazzling tiaras, wands and rings will also be available for purchase. The Father-Daughter Winter Ball promises a night daughters won’t forget with an evening of elegance, special dances, and memories for all.
If purchased in advance, tickets are $25 per couple with $10 tickets available for each additional daughter. Tickets can be purchased at the box office, 1 Central Ave., Whitefish, or by calling 862-5371. Box office hours are from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Skijoring event this weekend
After a break in the annual skijoring event the past few years, skijoring returns to the Flathead Valley this weekend on Saturday, Jan. 28 and Sunday, Jan. 29.
The gates will open at 10:30 a.m., opening ceremonines will begin at 11:30 a.m., and the racing will go from noon to 4 p.m. with entertainment at the Blue Moon following both days.
No outside food or drink is allowed at the event but there will be refreshments from different food truck vendors.
Ticket prices are $10 for adults, $40 for families, and free for kids 12 and under. Tickets may be purchased at the gate for the event. The entire event is cash only.
