Law roundup: Woman seeks relationship advice
Kalispell Police Department received a call from a woman complaining her belligerent 41-year-old boyfriend, who lived on one level of their residence, was “in her bubble” and wanted relationship advice.
A man allegedly urinated on the entrance of the police department. He was issued a citation for disorderly conduct.
A man reportedly wanted officers to know he had a letter stating law enforcement has permission to move along any homeless people sleeping on the church’s property, saying “this problem” had been recurring since the gazebo in Depot Park was closed.
A casino employee asked officers to walk through the business and drive through the parking lot because people were allegedly smoking cocaine and sleeping in cars overnight, adding that a group of men wouldn’t leave a woman alone, asking her for money after she won in the casino.
A black pickup was reportedly driven recklessly in a park, going onto the grass and sliding sideways down a road.
A man thought someone shattered a window on his vehicle with a baseball bat.
A man reportedly urinated on someone’s porch. The apologetic man told an officer he had a weak bladder. The person calling in the complaint requested they move along, which they did.
An employee was reportedly on the phone with someone claiming to be with the sheriff’s office, telling them to gather “all the big bills in the tills” and meet them at another store in Kalispell. During the call someone else called the police to report the suspicious request and the scammer hung up when told they called 911. They said the scammer spoofed the store manager’s phone number to call the store.
Someone allegedly thought she overheard a roommate talking about putting a hit on her.
A man’s ex allegedly tried to hit him with her fist when he was holding their baby. He thought she was on drugs because her pupils were dilated and said she took the kids, but he wouldn’t let her take the car seats, so she sat in a parking lot waiting for someone to bring other car seats. They both claimed to be getting a parenting plan and order of protection from each other.
