Kalispell Police Department responded to a man’s report that people in a green truck were shooting at his vehicle. Police units were told to disregard the call when the man said teens shot his vehicle with either a water gun or paintball gun, however, there was no evidence of this on his vehicle. An officer said officers would be on the lookout for the teens.
A tall, slender man allegedly threw a backpack at an electrical box and the items that fell out of it. He then walked over to a bench and kicked it. Someone called the police concerned the situation would escalate.
Officers responded to a report that a man hanging out in front of a hotel allegedly threatened to shoot someone on two separate occasions. He was told not to return.
A woman said her husband walked in front of a residence with a picket fence too closely and a dog leaned over and bit him. She initially thought the dog jumped over the fence and bit him.
One man’s lips were allegedly cut and bleeding after getting into a fight with another man. The men separated, but then tried to fight again and people were trying to keep them apart.
Someone reported child neglect when they reportedly saw a woman driving a vehicle with no front bumper, a 2-year-old standing in the front seat and a child in a car seat in the back.
Officers received a report of an aggressive man with a dog on a store patio who allegedly refused to leave and pushed or slapped a woman in the face. The store was locked to keep him outside. He was moved along and the woman stayed to wait for a ride.
A passerby requested a welfare check for a man allegedly standing over a railing on the southbound side of U.S. 93 because they were afraid he would fall and get hurt.
A man repeatedly said a gray sedan was parked in his parking space, which was designated for handicapped parking, and the car didn’t have the proper placard visible.
A woman was reportedly suspicious that the father of her children put hidden cameras around the house in places that captured inappropriate videos of the kids.
A very upset citizen wanted to file a complaint when an officer allegedly “blasted him with his brights and top light,” and was “trying to cause an accident just to pull people over. The man thought it was a “trap” and that he wasn’t driving poorly.
