Columbia Heights rollover leaves driver dead
A 42-year-old Kalispell man died after rolling his vehicle near mile marker 141 of U.S. 2 on Sunday night, authorities say.
The vehicle, a Ford F-750, was heading westbound near Columbia Heights at about 9:08 p.m., July 16 when it drifted to the right side of the highway, according to a report issued by Montana Highway Patrol. The driver overcorrected and the vehicle rolled, officials said.
The 42-year-old, the only person in the truck, was not wearing a seatbelt, officials said. He was declared dead on arrival.
Road conditions were listed as dry. Alcohol, drugs and speed are not considered factors in the crash.
