Polson hosts annual art shows this summer
The Sandpiper Gallery Art Gallery & Gifts in Polson hosts two art shows during the summer to provide opportunities for both novice and experienced artists to show their work in the gallery.
The eighth annual Flathead Lake Festival of the Arts is July 22-23 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Sacajawea Park located on Flathead Lake in Polson.
The 52nd annual Courthouse Arts Festival is Aug. 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Lake County Courthouse, 101 5th Avenue East, Polson. This show runs in conjunction with the annual Polson Car Show.
The nonprofit Sandpiper Gallery is an all-volunteer member artist cooperative founded in 1971 by a group of artists. Its mission is to encourage and promote participation in the arts and to provide educational opportunities through scholarships, workshops, gallery exhibits, festivals, a library, and other resources.
The gallery organizes art exhibits with an emphasis on Western Montana artists.
