Law roundup: Man makes pointed effort to share his intentions
A man in his mid-30s, who was wearing glasses, reportedly asked an employee if there were cameras outside the business. When they said, “No,” he responded, “Good because I am going to stab this guy out here.”
A white vehicle backed over a neighbor’s garbage can, dragging it down the street with trash spilling out everywhere. The neighbor told the Kalispell Police Department the driver had a history of being drunk.
A man riding an electric cart was reportedly hit by a vehicle backing out. The man declined medical attention and no injuries or damage was reported.
A customer was allegedly attacked by two women. One woman was wearing a skirt and had blonde hair while the other was wearing dark clothing. The business told officers they would pull security footage of the incident.
A man who ran through a parking lot and across the road was purportedly “being aggressive” toward customers although the person making the allegation could not clarify how the man’s actions were aggressive — just that he “appeared to be on edge.”
Three barking puppies were allegedly locked in a backyard for two days and were digging under the fence. The neighbor said no one appeared to be home and she was concerned her dog would be protective of the property if the puppies made it into her yard.
A woman reportedly stole a tent and tried to return it for a refund. She was also holding an air mattress that she claimed was hers. The store wanted to press charges.
A woman, who looked like she was under the influence of drugs, was seen spray painting a silver-gray car blue in a parking lot. Officers took her to jail and confirmed an outstanding felony warrant.
