Stockman Bank opens branch in Whitefish
Stockman Bank is opening its new location in Whitefish this week.
The new facility on U.S. 93 is equipped with a drive-up, ATM and night depository.
“We are very excited to expand our footprint in the Flathead Valley,” said Joe Kola, market president of Stockman Bank. “We look forward to introducing our unique brand of customer service to the people and businesses of Whitefish.”
The public is invited to attend grand opening celebrations featuring refreshments, prize drawings, and tours of the building.
On June 13, at 4 p.m. a grand opening celebration begins with music from local singer Halladay Quist, refreshments, and door prizes. At 5:30 p.m. special check presentations benefiting several area nonprofit organizations and a ribbon-cutting ceremony in conjunction with the Whitefish Chamber of Commerce will take place.
“Investing in our community is important to Stockman Bank and our employees,” said Kola. “We felt what better way to introduce Stockman Bank to Whitefish than to support the work non-profits do in the area.”
The new branch marks the 37th location statewide for Stockman Bank, and the second Flathead Valley location with a branch at 1 South Main Street in Kalispell.
Lobby hours of the Whitefish location are Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. The drive-up hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-6 p.m.
Stockman Bank is Montana’s largest, privately held, family-owned, community bank, established in 1953 by Miles City rancher and businessman, William Nefsy.
