AA Lakers fall to Moose Monarchs
MEDICINE HAT, Alberta — The AA Lakers fell to the Medicine Hat Moose Monarchs 7-4 Sunday after sweeping the Moose Monarchs Saturday. The Moose Monarchs jumped out to a 4-0 lead after putting up two runs in both the first and third innings. The AA Lakers rallied back with a run each in the fourth and fifth but a three run Moose Monarchs sixth inning put things out of reach for Kalispell.
Max Holden tossed a complete game for the Lakers allowing five earned runs across six innings while striking out two. Holden was the Laker top producer at the dish as well going 2-3 with two RBI and a triple. Carter Schlegel and Timmy Glanville drove in the other two runs for the Lakers while Kane Morisaki chipped in with a double. Adam Nikunen scored twice for Kalispell.
