PULLMAN, Wash. — Adam Nikunen drove in three runs, Max Holden homered and the Kalispell AA Lakers swamped the BBB Kings 16-7 at the Palouse Summer Series baseball tournament Thursday.

Timmy Glanville doubled scored three times for the Lakers (24-10), who benefited from 10 hits, five walks and seven hit batsmen.

Kaden Drish drove in a run with a hit-by-pitch; Colin Leonard and Oscar Kallis drew bases-loaded walks during a 9-run third inning that put the game out of reach. Kallis also hit a triple.

Kane Morisaki’s 2-run double made it 3-0 in the second inning; he came in on Adam Nikunen’s single. Nikunen hit a 2-run single during that third inning rally.

Holden’s solo home run came in the fourth. The game ended after five innings under the mercy rule.

Carter Schlegel started on the hill and threw three no-hit innings, fanning three. Josh Close finished up. The Lakers play the BC Riverdogs Friday.
