Gary Heinrichson, 74

On Dec. 12, 2022, Gary "Heine" Heinrichson passed away at the Brendan House. Gary was born July 1, 1948 to Charles and Vera Heinrichson. He was baptised into the Lutheran Church Dec. 29, 1948. Upon his death Gary was 74.

He attended Flathead High School graduating in the Class of 1966. In the spring of 1968, Gary enlisted into the Marine Corps. He served most of his duty on the Island of Okinawa during the Vietnam War.

Returning to the valley after his service Gary held several different jobs. His longest employment was groundskeeper at the Conrad Cemetery for 32 years. He was also a member of the Eagles.

Gary suffered a stroke 17 years ago, which left him with many medical challenges. His sister, Debra was a dedicated caregiver and friend that helped him face these challenges. Gary enjoyed his music collection and keeping up with many sports, especially football. He shared his knowledge and love of the game with his cousin Linda Rowlette and good friend Gary Diegel.

Gary goes to heaven to join his parents, Charles and Vera Heinrichson; and his brother, Gene. He is leaving behind his sisters, Renae Walker of Salmon, Idaho, and Debra Bloolmfield of Kalispell. He will be missed by his family and friends.
