Law Roundup: Woman wants her car and husband back

A bank employee called the Whitefish Police Department concerned after a customer allegedly said the car she had been living in was stolen and her husband’s body was in the trunk. It was clarified that her husband’s ashes were in the vehicle, which was located and had been towed and impounded.

A man reportedly went to cash a check for $4,000 and no funds were available.

A box truck went into a ditch. A tow truck was called.

Business owners needed clarification about who was allowed to park where. Both parties agreed to exchange phone numbers and contact one another regarding future parking issues.
