Robert "Bobby" Patrick Dewbre, 21
Robert “Bobby” Patrick Dewbre, 21, of Columbia Falls, Montana, was killed in a tragic accident on March 11, 2023.
Bobby was born on March 10, 2002, to Robert Dewbre and Elizabeth McBride in Kalispell, Montana. After Bobby graduated from Columbia Falls High School in 2020, he went on to study welding at Flathead Valley Community College, where he was set to graduate in May.
While working on his degree, he started his job on Big Mountain as a lifty, where he made an undeniable impression on everyone he met, from coworkers to strangers. He was incredibly passionate about his role on the Mountain and made many friends along the way.
Bobby was a fearless, wonderful, and compassionate person. He cared deeply for his family and friends, and brought joy and charisma everywhere he went. Bobby enjoyed golfing, baseball, wrestling, and snowboarding. He was an incredibly social person who loved his friends more than anything in the world. Bobby will be missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
Bobby was predeceased by his biological grandfather, Carl Ray Dewbre. He is survived by parents Robert Carl Dewbre and Elizabeth Mary McBride; his siblings, Caleb John Dewbre and Carli Suzanne Dewbre; his maternal grandparents Patrick and Bonnie McBride; and paternal grandparents, Jim and Ann Driskell. Private Family services are being held. Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home and Crematory are caring for Bobby's family.
