Walburn 5th in decathlon debut for Washington St.
AUSTIN, Texas — Lee Walburn's Cougar decathlon debut highlighted the first two days of the Texas Relays for Washington State track and field.
Walburn posted a personal best time in both the 100m dash (11.01) and 110m hurdles (15.33) en route to a career-high 7,322 points and fifth-place finish.
Walburn, a junior, is a 2019 graduate of Whitefish High school and won two NAIA decathlon titles with Carroll College. This is first season with the Cougars.
