Glacier-Sentinel softball postponed by storm

Tuesday’s Western AA softball game between visiting Glacier and Missoula Sentinel was postponed by a thunderstorm that rumbled over Missoula shortly after gametime.

The game will be made at a time to be announced.

Glacier’s next game is Thursday at home against Missoula Big Sky, at 3 p.m.; at 5 p.m. Sentinel plays on the road against Flathead, at KidSport.

Lightning also shortened the triangular track and field meet Tuesday at MCPS Stadium: Officials canceled the last event, the 1,600-meter relay.

Results for that meet, which included Sentinel, Missoula Hellgate and Flathead, were not available at press time.
