A woman with red hair, who was allegedly panhandling, “terrified” a man’s wife when she went over to their vehicle and knocked on his window. Kalispell Police Department provided a woman with a copy of the city’s panhandling ordinance.

A woman reportedly called 911 to report that a wobbly man wearing a dark jacket kept walking into traffic and waving around a bag or towel at vehicles. Officers were unable to locate him.

A few bicycles, tents and a cart full of “rotten stuff” was allegedly found in stalls at the fairgrounds.

A manager at a location reportedly saw a female driver trying to pass out in a white Subaru parked in the lot and a man in the passenger seat, who looked very jittery and was waving his hands around. They also claimed to see lots of cans of hard iced tea and a “snort tube.” To an officer, the man appeared to be under the influence of a stimulant, but the woman looked sober. No drugs were observed. The manager gave them one hour to move.

Someone called the police when they allegedly heard a heated argument in a neighboring building. A man involved in the argument also asked them to call the police.

Someone was reportedly hit with a pan and scissors.

A man allegedly babbling and being disruptive in a business was asking staff to call for an ambulance, but he did not appear to be in distress. Staff asked officers to check on his welfare and move him along if he was OK.
