WHITEFISH — This year’s Last Chance Triangular actually had four track and field teams, but that didn’t thin out the points for the Flathead Braves and Bravettes Thursday.

Team scores aren’t official but Flathead swept the meet decisively. Kelcey Copping’s personal record in the 100 meters,12.63 seconds, was one highlight for the Bravettes. That time puts her in the top seven in Class AA.

Alivia Rinehart won the 200 in a PR (26.27) as well, and moved into the top five in AA; Peyton Walker got under the State AA qualifying mark in the 400, running 60.23.

Flathead’s Lilli Rumsey Eash won a tight 3,200 meters over Whitefish’s Maeve Ingelfinger, finishing in a season-best 11:47.71. Freshman Bristol Lenz ran her best 100 hurdles time, 16.01; Zoey Bortz ran her season best (47.33) in the 300 hurdles and sits fifth in AA.

One more Bravette PR: Maddy Moy moved into the top three in the AA discus with a winning throw of 117 feet, nine inches.

Flathead also had wins from Mikenna Conan in the 800, Selah Lackey in the pole vault, Payzlee Boyce in the long jump, Tali Miller in the javelin and swept the relays.

With the Corvallis Twilight Meet looming Saturday, Whitefish didn’t run at full strength, though sprint star Brooke Zetooney won the shot put with a mark of 35-11 — fifth best in Class A.

The Bulldogs’ Rachel Wilmot PR’d in and won the 400 in 59.09 seconds, and sits fifth in Class A there. Ingelfinger’s time in the 3,200, 11:48.04, was another PR and sits fifth in A. Norah Schmidt’s winning triple jump of 34-7.5 sits fifth in Class A.

Libby’s Rylee Boltz cleared 5-2 to win the high jump; Browning’s Teslin Trombley won the 1,600.

Flathead’s boys got a big day from William Hollensteiner, who won the 200, 800 and high jump; and Brody Thornsberry, who won the 100 and the triple jump.

Michael Mahar cleared 13-6 to win the pole vault, and is among five vaulters tied for fourth in AA.

The Braves swept the relays, had Cameron Wells win the 800 and saw Jacob Dolezal take the 110 hurdles. Dominick Mitten won the javelin, Fin Reed won the 3,200 and Flathead’s Ben Bliven took the long jump.

Whitefish’s Simon Douglas (4:32.10) and Nate Ingelfinger went 1-4 in a tight 1,600 (Flathead’s Kasen Kastner and Bauer Hollman went 3-4) and sit third and sixth in Class A in that event.

The Bulldogs’ Carson Krack won the 300 hurdles in 41.09, a top-six time in A; Bowdrie Krack cleared 12-6 to finish third in the in the pole vault — behind Flathead’s Mahar and Trevin Olivier (13-0) and move into third in Class A in that event.

Wyatt Akey added a win in the discus for Whitefish.

Browning’s Rodale Dogtakinggun took the shot put.
