Law roundup: When the rooster crows

| May 17, 2023 12:00 AM

Someone allegedly heard a rooster crowing in the area of Meadow Lark Lane and voiced concerns to the Whitefish Police Department because they weren’t allowed in the city limits. Officers did not see any houses that appeared to have chickens.

What someone thought sounded like an explosion or gunshot was the electric company testing a transformer.

Police advised a youth sitting on a ledge at the top of the parking garage to get down.

Someone reportedly ran into a bar saying someone kicked a truck.

Dispatch answered a 911 call to hear men’s voices on the open line and multiple buttons being pushed. The phone number allegedly had a history of numerous 911 calls in the past month.

An officer warned a driver pulling a trailer with a hot tub about a tail light issue.
