Law roundup: Suspicious robed man emerges from woods

A man reportedly dressed in a robe and “talking nonsense” emerged from among the trees by a building and someone was concerned for the safety of women who frequented a nearby gym. They told the Kalispell Police Department that the man also might be looking to steal something from vehicles.

Officers responded to a disturbance where a woman allegedly swung at another woman with a board, beating her up and stealing her money.

A girl with another youth allegedly spray painted her name on a parking lot lamp post but was released to the friend’s parents prior to an officer’s arrival.

Someone allegedly calling on a neighbor’s behalf wanted to know if he needed to move the man’s vehicles because he had been “trespassed from his own alleyway.”

Someone allegedly found an unattended 2- or 3-year-old wearing a tank top and diaper toddling down the sidewalk. The child was reunited with a parent.

Noisy teens in a noisy red truck reportedly stopped in front of a woman’s house and the youths were running around talking about trying to find a guy’s house, possibly to go to a party and yelled they were going to knock on everyone’s door. Officers caught up with the group in a high school parking lot and moved them along.
