Janice Moonen, 76

Janice Moonen, 76, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Nov. 5, 2023, after a long battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Aug. 1, 1947 in Minnesota. 

In 1965, she met her beloved husband and life partner, Alvin. 

Alvin and Janice married in 1966 and began their 57 year journey together, which included moving to Montana and building a family of nine children, 16 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two daughters-in-law, and one son-in-law. 

Janice was a fiercely devout, loving, loyal, and cheerful person who always put everyone else’s well-being as her highest priority. 

She will be desperately missed by all who knew and loved her. 

A private family memorial will be held in lieu of a service.
