Evergreen ready to celebrate the holiday season
It’s holiday season in Evergreen and the Evergreen community is ready to celebrate with two lively and entertaining events!
If you need that special pie for your Thanksgiving table, join us on Tuesday, Nov. 21 at Glacier Ace Hardware for our annual Light Up Evergreen & Pie Auction. The Silent Auction begins at 5 p.m., and the live auction at 6:10 p.m. Harmon Crane & Rigging will light up the Christmas tree in the sky at 6:30 p.m. Do you need a little persuasion to get in the holiday mood? Join us for Christmas music, hot chocolate and holiday treats. You can be a part of the giving spirit by donating a pie or buying a pie. All proceeds benefit NWMT Veteran’s Food Pantry and Flathead Food Bank.
Don’t forget to Shop Black Friday and Small Business Saturday in Evergreen. Local businesses not only pay their employees, but they also spend money at other local businesses. That means by buying local, you help create jobs for your friends and neighbors, contribute to improved public infrastructure, and invest in your community both socially and economically. These same local businesses and community members encouraged and supported our “Safe Routes to Schools.”
UPDATE ON “Safe Routes to Schools.” The first phase of the Safe Routes to Schools project, from Tractor Supply to Evergreen Fire Hall, will be completed for the 2024-2025 school year. The second phase of the project will be completed the following year. This special Evergreen project would not have been possible without a great community effort, including the Evergreen Community Partners, Laurie Barron and School District 50, Evergreen Fire District, Evergreen property owners, the amazing Phase 1 donors as well as Montana Gov. Greg Gianforte for his support of Phase 2 and Evergreen’s very own Rep. Tony Brockman. Evergreen Chamber of Commerce is proud to be associated with this group of amazing people. EVERGREEN ROCKS!
The holiday blues getting you down? Evergreen Chamber of Commerce has just what you need — its holiday dinner is set for Thursday, Dec. 7 at the Expo building at the Flathead Fairgrounds. Doors open at 5 p.m. A fun-filled evening of laughter, games, entertainment, a silent auction with incredible items, and dinner. The theme is National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. That says it all!
Shop local! Shop Evergreen!
