Boys soccer: Glacier’s Ells is Western AA Player of Year

A pair of Glacier Wolfpack boys made All-State for Class AA soccer, and one of them, junior midfielder Liam Ells, was named the Western AA’s Player of the Year.

Ells and defender Ethan Grant, a senior, represented the Pack on the All-State team as selected by the league coaches. 

In addition three more Glacier players were all-Western AA: junior Elias Holly and seniors Hans Coggins and Joe Paolini. 

Paolini, a forward, had 14 goals and eight assists while Ells had 13 goals and 13 assists for the Western AA champion Pack.

Flathead had three players get honorable mention: junior Mathew Himsl and seniors Trace Lenz and Miller Bushnell.
