Hellgate edges Glacier, 2-1

MISSOULA — Lucca Musco’s second half goal lifted the Hellgate Knights to a 2-1 win over Western AA rival Glacier Wolfpack on Saturday.

Fischer Garland scored for Hellgate in the 35th minute, and Glacier’s Liam Ells tied it 1-1 before the half.

Hellgate moves up to 8-1-1; Glacier is 7-1-0.

MISSOULA — Glacier dropped a 5-2 decision to Hellgate in Western AA play on Saturday,

Calista Wroble and Reagan Brisendine scored for Glacier (3-5-0). Hellgate is 9-1-0 overall.

“We had a rough first 20 minutes of the game, but once we settled in we play great soccer as a team,” Glacier coach Doug Mello said. “Calista had a great goal outside of the 18 and Reagan had a nice goal off a corner.

“We are looking forward to the next two weeks with 6 upcoming games. We are moving in the right direction for the second half of our season making some adjustments and playing hard.”
