Schweikert, special teams key big C-Falls win
COLUMBIA FALLS — Cody Schweikert accounted for four touchdowns and Columbia Falls’ special teams were special in a 41-0 rout of Western A rival Libby Friday.
The Wildcats (4-2 overall and in the Western A) got on the board first with a 50-yard punt return by Mark Robison, then opened the second half with an 85-yard kickoff return from Alihn Anderson.
In between, Jace Hill blocked a Logger punt, setting up Schweikert’s 1-yard scoring run that put Columbia Falls 19-0 in the first quarter.
Schweikert threw touchdown passes covering 12 yards to Robison, 23 to Hill and 20 to Anderson. He was 12 of 16 passing for 190 yards.
Hill had five catches for 87 yards. Anderson was the top rusher with 60 yards on six carries, and the Wildcat defense made two interceptions — by Chance Miller and Austin Dobson — while holding Libby (3-4, 3-4) to 94 yards.
Isaac Lamere had seven catches for 55 yards for the Loggers.
