Bravettes tie Helena, beat Capital

The Flathead Bravettes had a solid weekend, coming up with a win and a tie against Helena teams at Kidsport on Friday and Saturday.

Flathead topped Helena Capital 2-1 on Friday with goals from Avi Schmautz and Mia Stephan, and tied Helena High 2-2, with a goal from Schmautz and Isla Alexander.

“A win and a tie is a good way to come out of this really challenging weekend but the girls fought hard,” Bravettes coach Zach Brenneman said.

The Bravettes are now 5-5-2.

The Flathead boys fell 3-1 to Helena High Saturday and 8-0 to Helena Capital on Friday.
