Law roundup: Pedestrians threaten to beat driver up
Someone reportedly stepped off the curb in front of a man’s vehicle and then walked across the street with another individual where they threatened to beat him up. He called the police, wanting them to be aware that it looked like the pair “were challenging people to hit them.”
A man allegedly cut someone off, who put their hands up and he pulled a gun out of a holster and pointed it at him.
A woman complained about her two kittens going missing and told police she had previously told a high school student who picked up one of the kittens while walking by her house to put it down. The resident said it was an ongoing issue. She was advised to consider installing security cameras — and the obvious — to keep the kittens inside.
An apartment dweller called the police with an alleged suspicion that a group of people in the parking lot was going to take her cell phone and DVD player. She said they were “capturing Wi-Fi” and she needed an officer to respond to the location to figure out what was going on, but she wouldn’t provide her apartment number before hanging up. No group was located.
