Bravettes tie Big Sky

MISSOULA — The Bravettes worked to a 3-3 tie with Missoula Big Sky in Western AA girls soccer on Thursday.

Flathead (5-5-3) erased a two-goal hole in the second half but couldn't stop Big Sky scorer Averi Larson, who scored the tying goal late.

“Went down two goals early but were able to battle back and go up one,” Flathead coach Zach Brenneman said. “Couldn’t hold them off in the last minutes. Our entire back line really stepped up. Celie Vandenbosch, Mauraia Nigon, Alivia Rinehart, and Elaina Stern. It was a battle and we are proud of what we did today. Now we get ready for Glacier.”

The Bravettes play at 8 p.m. at Legends Stadium on Thursday, their last regular season game.
