Campus protests

Turning on the TV, I recently watched as America’s future paraded around their largely taxpayer-funded college campus with signs: 

“Israel, a racist tool of American terrorism,” 

“Israel is a genocidal state,” 

“Israel is the terrorist,” 

“Stop Israels Gaza massacre,” 

“Stop Israels Terror,” this last one proudly hoisted by a group calling itself Harvard’s “Socialist Workers.” 

I was struck by how passionate many of the educated (?) young ladies in the protest were in the condemnation of Israel’s defense of its borders. One would almost think that they were being dragged off by their hair to an unknown fate while begging for their lives or the lives of their children. The images we now see of Israels latest and continuing struggle for survival should remind everyone to never underestimate the destruction to the human condition that can be generated by ignorant political dogma. 

Those tattoos on the arms of now elderly Israeli Jews can once again become a ticket for a one way train ride if the ignorant prevail. And, it will make no difference how many college credits the ignorant have.
