Law roundup: Boy hits woman in neck with Gel Blaster
Kalispell Police Department responded to a report from a woman who was hit in the neck by someone shooting a BB gun from the driver’s side of a passing vehicle. Initially, she thought she was hit by a rock while out walking, but looked to see others being shot at. Officers caught up with the vehicle and made contact with a teenage boy and two girls, who allegedly said they were using a Gel Blaster to hit signs and people. The the boy said he shot the woman.
An officer talked to a man about a complaint about dogs barking and advised him about city code that limits the number of dogs a person may keep on a premises to four. He claimed to know who lodged the complaint and went tit for tat by filing a report alleging the neighbor shot a compound bow in his yard.
A flippant young man wearing flip flops, jeans and a black coat reportedly had nothing better to do than loiter around a business for four hours and started calling employees names after he was asked to leave multiple times. By the time he left, employees had no more time for his attitude and wanted officers to let him know he was not welcome back.
A man in a room with a housekeeper and a 15-year-old boy allegedly refused to leave the premises despite being banned from all it’s locations. Officers moved him along and advised him of his warrants.
