Flathead Land Trust fundraiser Sept. 13

| September 8, 2023 12:00 AM

Celebrating the water, wildlife and open spaces in Northwest Montana, the Flathead Land Trust hosts The Land Affair on Wednesday, Sept. 13.

The annual fundraising event for the land trust begins at 6 p.m. at Diamond B in Kalispell.

It is the annual fundraising event for Flathead Land Trust with proceeds helping to protect bird and wildlife habitat, sustain our scenic and agriculturally productive lands and secure public access to special places in the Flathead Valley and Northwest Montana. The gorgeous venue at Diamond B holds special significance, since the property along the Flathead River on which it sits is protected with a conservation easement through Flathead Land Trust, safeguarding nearly 200 acres of farmland and riparian habitat.

Live music will be provided by Randy Marshall, a talented and versatile accoustic artist performing music from country to classic rock and accoustic legends to modern artists. The event will also feature delicious, locally sourced appetizers from Cartwright Catering. Local beer, wine and non-alcoholic drinks will be available at a no-host bar. Guests can participate in a raffle, where they can win experiences such as a two night stay in a cozy cabin near Bigfork, a half-day rafting trip and a season pass to Whitefish Bike Retreat. A Live Drive paddle raise will cap off the evening, with proceeds helping to complete new conservation projects throughout northwest Montana.
