Whitefish girls top Valkyries, 5-1

WHITEFISH — Delaney Smith’s hat trick lifted the Whitefish Bulldogs to a 5-1 win over the Bigfork Valkyries on Saturday in Northwest A girls soccer.

Olivia Genovese and Charlize Ullrich added goals for Whitefish (5-0-0 overall), 2-0-0 in league), who led 2-0 at the half.

Smith scored her first goal in the 16th minute and her last two in the second half.

Callie Gembala scored for Bigfork (3-2-1, 0-0-1)in the 76th minute.

On Thursday, Whitefish topped Libby 9-1 behind Genovese’s four-goal performance.
