Woman wonders where her taxes are going

A caller who reported two stolen park benches months ago was upset that nothing was ever done about it. She said the she pays taxes and expects the benches to be there.

A father from southeast Montana reported that his son was struggling with alcohol and gambling, and had gone up to Kalispell to “start a new chapter.”

Rowdy teenagers in a white Nissan with a smashed out back window reportedly harassed a couple of young boys biking into town to get ice cream. The teens cussed at the boys and tried to chase them in their car. The boys ran to the police station, fearful that the teens were going to beat them up.

A person just off the bypass was counseled on the city’s panhandling ordinance.

Drag racers were “going all directions” on U.S. 93. There were 50 or 60 of them, the caller said.

A man said a bunch of thumping was going on inside a neighboring room. It kept waking him up.

A woman suffering a herion drug overdose was given three doses on Narcan before law enforcement arrived on the scene. Police saw drug paraphernalia all over the ground.

A man trying to pick a fight with workers at a pizza restaurant was advised to move along.

A Volkswagen SUV sped around a car stopped at a crosswalk as kids crossed in front of Edgerton Elementary.

An orange Chevy Avalanche was reportedly swerving into oncoming traffic on the bypass.

A man sleeping on the front porch of a church was asked to move along.

An apartment building was tagged with red graffiti.

A Texan said a middle-aged man Kalispell was harassing her with unwanted emails.

A man maced a pit bull after it reportedly charged at him while on the bike trail. He was able to fend off the attack using his bike. The dog owner was later confronted about the incident, but “did not care,” the caller said.

An ambulance was called after a vehicle hit a bridge.

A man upset that his prescription drug order was not promptly ready caused a scene at a pharmacy. He was asked to leave and to find a new pharmacist to fill his orders going forward.

A Trek model road bike with a U.S. Postal Service logo was reported stolen. There was no word on Lance Armstrong’s whereabouts.

Poison control didn’t answer the phone and a mother wanted to know what to do after he consumed nail polish remover. She decided to drive to the hospital herself.

A transient camp cropped up between two buildings. A similar camp was established in the same location a few months ago.

A neighborhood resident was concerned about an elderly man slumped over his steering wheel. He was just watching some shows on his phone.

A man had a weird feeling about someone he was messaging on Facebook marketplace, so he Googled his name and it came back as a missing and endangered person. Police ran the person’s name and nothing suspicious was found.
