Eagles overwhelm Bravettes

Avory Decoite poured in four goals for the Missoula Big Sky Eagles in a 5-1 win over the Flathead Bravettes in Western AA soccer on Tuesday.

Mia Stephan got the Bravettes as close as 2-1 before the half, but Decoite and teammate Averi Larson combined for three goals to close it out.

“Tough day,” Bravettes coach Zach Brenneman said. “But we will use it as fuel and come back stronger.”

The Bravettes are 1-3-1 this season.

Big Sky’s Andre Hassan scored the winning goal in a 1-0 win over the Flathead Braves on Tuesday. The Braves are 0-5.

Up next for Flathead is a set of home games against Butte on Friday. The Bravettes play at 4 p.m. and the Braves at 2 p.m.
