Glacier sweeps Big Sky in soccer

Joey Paolini poured in four goals to help the Glacier Wolfpack to an 8-0 win over Western AA foe Missoula Big Sky in boys soccer on Saturday.

Cash Treweek added two goals for the 7-0-0 Wolfpack.

Liam Ells added a goal and two assists and Elias Holly contributed two assists. Glacier also got a goal from Bridger Dalla Betta.

Brayden Jenkinson, AJ Zlogar and Alex Hoerner all had assists.

Glacier 3, Big Sky 2

The Glacier girls bounced back with a 3-2 win over Missoula Big Sky in Western AA girls soccer on Saturday.

“The girls came out ready to fight for a win today,” Glacier coach Doug Mello said “Despite giving up a couple early goals, they settled in, found their shape and played their game, leading them to win. Great rebound from our disappointing loss in crosstown. Difference being we finished our chances and kept our focus for 80 minutes”

Reagan Brisendine scored two goals, one on a penalty kick and the other assisted by Emmery Schmidt. Kylie Shine added Glacier’s other goal.

The Wolfpack is now 3-4-0.
