Paganini Unleashed concert April 12

Wai Mizutani presents Paganini Unleashed, the second of Mizutani's concert series at the Wachholz College Center on April 12.  

Mizutani, accompanied on piano by Wei-Yi Sun and featuring special guest artist Elizabeth Busch Letourneau on classical guitar, presents Paganini Unleashed, featuring the best music from one of the best composers and performers of all time. The performance is at 7 p.m. 

Born in Bejing, China, and later moving to Hong Kong with his parents, Mizutani is a renowned violinist and Julliard graduate. He has performed worldwide with orchestras. 

Wei-Yi Sun is a solo pianist, piano teacher and collaborative pianist from Taiwan, earning her Master of Music degree from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music and her doctorate in piano performance from The Ohio State University School of Music. 

Elizabeth Busch Letourneau has cultivated a unique and varied musical style, combining elements of classical and folk music to create a wide repertoire of both instrumental and vocal original, classical, and popular selections. Beginning her musical journey at the age of 7 with the classical guitar, she went on to earn a Bachelor of Music at Colorado Christian University and a Master of Music at the University of Southern California.
