Judy Allen, 81

Judy Florence (Bilant) Allen, 81, passed away March 30, 2024, in Salem, Oregon. She was born Sept. 28, 1942, in Forsyth, as the second daughter of Joseph and Doris (Hodge) Bilant.

In 1945, her family moved to Whitefish, when her father was hired as a teacher and coach. Judy and her siblings, Jolene, Joyce, David and Bonnie Jo, flourished in the small-town life and values. She graduated in 1960.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Kitty, and former husband Ed Wright.

She is remembered with love by her siblings, Jolene Smith, Joyce Zahorsky, David Bilant, and Bonnie Jo Bilant; husband, Dan Allen; daughter, Mary Jo Brock (Jim); granddaughters, Ashley Hogan (Sean), Alysia Rodgers (Tyler), Tasha Brock, and Kira Brock; grandson, Matt Brock; and numerous great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. on April 27, at the South Salem Senior Center. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Historic Carousel and Museum of Albany Oregon, 503 West First Ave., Albany, Oregon 97321.
