Nila McRae, 84

Nila McRae, 84, passed away in Phoenix, Arizona, on March 27, 2024, surrounded by her husband, three sons, and a granddaughter.

She worked in the hotel industry for more than 30 years alongside her husband Larry, juggling her time raising three rambunctious boys. After retiring in 2002, she watched over her parents in the last years of their lives. She enjoyed traveling and visited countless states and 25 countries throughout the world making new friends and countless people.

In 2012 she and her husband became “snowbirds” spending the winter months in Arizona and at least seven months of the year back in Kalispell enjoying special times with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Larry; sons, Kevin (Roseann), Scott (Penny), and Sean (Mary); seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

There will be a memorial service held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 26, at Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home in downtown Kalispell. A private family burial will follow the service. Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home and Crematory is caring for the family.
