NO. 30228 Notice is hereby given that regular registration for the Federal Primary Election to be held on June 4, 2024, will close at 5:00 p.m., on May 6, 2024. Persons who wish to register or need to update registration information may do so by submitting a form for registration by mail or by appearing at the county election office during regular registration. If you have moved, please update your registration information by submitting a voter registration form indicating the voter’s current address. After regular registration has closed, late registration is currently available at the county election office up until 8 PM on election day. NO. 30252 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING  ANNEXATION TO SMITH VALLEY RURAL FIRE DISTRICT The Board of Commissioners of Flathead County, Montana, hereby gives notice, pursuant to Section 7-33-2125(1)(b), M.C.A., that it will hold a public hearing to consider a petition to annex territory into the Smith Valley Rural Fire District. WHEREAS, the property to be annexed is legally described as follows:  S27, T28 N, R22 W, ACRES 2.32, CS 21040-2, TR 2A IN SW4SW4 (SELL W/TR 2AA IN SEC 34) AND S34, T28 N, R22 W, ACRES 37.68, CS 21040-2, TR 2AA IN NW4NW4 (SELL W/TR 2A IN SEC 27) The Board of Commissioners has received a petition in writing by the owners of 100% of the land of the area to be annexed asking that such area be annexed into the Smith Valley Rural Fire District by transferring the property as described above into the Smith Valley Rural Fire District. The public hearing will be held on May 7, 2024 at 11 o’clock a.m. in the Commis¬sioners’ Chambers, located on the third floor of the Old County Courthouse at 800 South Main Street in Kalispell, Mon¬tana. At the public hearing, the Board of County Commissioners will give the public an opportunity to be heard regarding the proposed annexation and will consider a protest petition, if one is presented at the hearing that is signed by a majority of the landowners of the area proposed for annexation, which would prevent the annexation.
