Debra Warriner, 1954 - 2024

Debra K. Warriner (Jensen) passed away April 16, 2024, at the Brendon House after a lengthy battle with COPD. She she was born in Malta, to Jens Jensen and Margurete Crowder. Jens and Margurete had a son, Edward in Chouetou. They moved to Malta, where Debra was born. They later divorced with Jens obtaining custody of the kids. She lived most of her school years in Chouetou, then moved to Kalispell. Where she lived with her aunt and uncle, Nancy and Brucke Jensen.

She worked at Norms News as a waiter, where she met her husband Vaughn R. Warriner. He worked at Bell Manufacturing making campers and trailers and ran the roller rink at Lake Blaine Resort. In the summer, while having a bite at Norms they got acquainted and he asked her if she would like to go roller skating there, and that that was the start of 51 yrs of marriage.

They were married March 17, 1973 (St. Patrick's Day). She did work at various jobs, Pancake House which became Finnegan's then Perkins. She worked at Herbergers in the mall and a short while at Snowline Trees. She worked a short time at the Apple Barrel on Hwy 2. The last place she worked was at K-Mart, as a checker. From there on she had health problems which would put her in the hospital for a short time, for the next 5 or 6 years.

The last time was the worst and after a short stay in the hospital she was moved to the Brenden House Assisted Living where she was attended to by the “angel nurses” who took the utmost care of her. She made lasting friendships with all of them. We are so grateful to them, they are a fine example to their profession.

She gave birth to three wonderful children, Erica Warriner (Vonschersmitt) of Sitka, Alaska. She had nine children, Kyle, Kaleb, Kryenn, Kelse, Kalie, Kessie, Keely, Keffer (deceased) Kulane, and Karman; Odin C. Warriner, his wife Melane and their daughter Oliva; Amara, her husband Jay, and their kids Ashlyn and Easton of Helena.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Marguret; father, Jens; aunt and uncle, Nancy and Bruce Jensen; her brother-in-law Dan, wife Stella Jean, and daughter Allysa Nacoula of Havre; sister-in-law Maria Ereksen and her daughter Porsche, and grandson Keefer of Sitka, Alaska.

She was survived by her husband, Vaughn; children, Erica, Odin, and Amara; and brother, Ed of Greatfalls. She was also great grandmother to Kyle's daughter Athena, and granddaughter Kelse, husband Brandon, and their daughter Orion and son Bangor.

She was loved by all who knew her and she enjoyed being a grandmother and great grandmother. She was a Christian, her pain and suffering is gone and she is in the arms of her Saviors. She had 51 yrs of marriage and she will be sorely missed, but not forgotten. "May the road rise up to meet you as you travel your journey." We love you Deb.
