Janice Marlene (Barrier) Erickson, 85

Our adored mother, Janice Marlene (Barrier) Erickson, 85, passed away on May 22, 2024.

She was born on March 18, 1939, in Kellogg, Idaho, to James Marvin Barrier and Helen Schram Barrier. She graduated from Flathead High school in 1957.

Janice lived in Kalispell, Missoula, and Gresham, Oregon; before moving to Bend, Oregon in 2011.

She is survived by her sister, Brenda Probert; her children, Paula Pridgeon, Tod Houston and Matthew Houston; and her 10 grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In her later years mom enjoyed being active in the church, knitting, baking, working in her garden and playing games (BarnYard Rummy and Cribbage) with her children and grandchildren.

Mom will be laid to rest at Greenwood Cemetery next to her mother in Kellogg, Idaho.
