Tickets to see string band Della Mae go on sale Friday

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Aug. 16 to see Grammy-nominated bluegrass band Della Mae at the Wachholz College Center in November.
Founded by lead vocalist and guitarist, Celia Woodsmith, and two-time national champion fiddle player, Kimber Ludiker, Della Mae is described as a charismatic and engaging contemporary roots band. Rounding out the touring lineup are guitarist Avril Smith and bassist Vickie Vaughn.
“They have traveled to over 30 countries spreading peace and understanding through music. Their mission as a band is to showcase top female musicians and to improve opportunities for women and girls through advocacy, mentorship, programming, and performance,” according to their bio at www.dellamae.com.
Della Mae’s latest album “Family Reunion” features Woodsmith, Ludiker Smith, Maddie Witler and Vaughn who “capture the joy of the band reuniting after more than a year of virtual collaboration, Zooms and group texts.”
The concert is scheduled for 7 p.m. Nov. 24. The Wachholz College Center is located at Flathead Community College in Kalispell.
