Jerome Charles Banyai, 62
Jerome Charles Banyai, 62, was the fourth child born to Nicolaus and Marie (Messmer) Banyai on Sept. 5, 1961, in Missoula. He grew up in the Rattlesnake valley, attending Lincoln and Rattlesnake schools, where he made many lifelong friends. Jerome continued his education at Hellgate High School and attended Renton Vo Tech in Washington State.

Some were nine stories high. He had no fear of heights.

In 1996 Jerome became the father of Trevor, who he raised by himself for many years. Jerome taught Trevor the true meaning of being a father; patience, hard work and caring about others without judgement. Jerome and Trevor enjoyed many hours hunting, fishing, camping and exploring the outdoors.
Jerome and brother Jim and his son Travis built a house with a shop downstairs. Then Jerome created many projects in the shop; the last being a 1927 Chevrolet pickup he named the Rat Rod. Jerome entered it in many car shows where the Rat Rod was a hit for all ages.
