Twins’ Kellen Kroger is A Legion All-State

Pitcher Kellen Kroger, who helped the Glacier Twins to a shared State A American Legion title and an appearance at regionals, was named All-State for Montana Class A for 2024. 

Kroger, who helped the Twins go 42-15, is one of seven West District players named All-State by league coaches. The list includes Dawson DuMont of the Mission Valley Mariners. 

Kroger threw 68 innings for the Twins, with 56 strikeouts and a 1.75 earned run average. At the plate he hit .375, with a team-high 15 doubles and an OPS of .976. 

In addition, Twins teammates Nolan Amerman and Maddox Muller were All-District. Amerman hit .390 with 68 runs batted in; Muller threw a team-high 72.1 innings with 46 strikeouts and a 2.32 ERA. 

The Kalispell A Lakers had George Schwan named all-West District, and Mission Valley’s Cole Wadsworth was all-District as well.  

The Lakers saw Tait Orme and Brady Buckmaster get honorable mention, along with Dawson Juntunen of the Twins, Aidan Rose and Cy Williams of the Libby Loggers and Landon Shoemake and Cody Haggard of Mission Valley.
