Step Back in Time as the Bigfork Summer Playhouse celebrates golden era of rock ’n’ roll
Get ready to rock and roll down memory lane as the Bigfork Summer Playhouse concludes its 65th season with “The Hits of the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s.”
The show opens on Aug. 27. Shows start at 7:30 p.m.
Audiences are invited to relive the era of slicked-back hair, bell-bottoms, and the birth of rock ‘n’ roll with timeless hits from legendary artists like Chuck Berry, Roy Orbison, Sam Cooke, the Everly Brothers, and icons like Motley Crue, Billy Joel, Cab Calloway, Paul Simon and Bob Seger. This show offers a melodic journey through the classic tunes that once dominated the airwaves and continue to resonate with fans today.
“Each song in ‘The Hits of the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s’ is a thread in the vibrant tapestry of rock ‘n’ roll history,” Director of the Bigfork Summer Playhouse Brach Thomson said. “We’re thrilled to bring these timeless tunes to life in a way that’s not only nostalgic but also incredibly exhilarating.”
