Whitefish Police seeking information on a man accused of propositioning minors for sexual acts

The Whitefish Police Department is asking residents to keep an eye out for a man investigators say has solicited children and teenagers for sexual acts.

Authorities described the man as in his mid- to late-20s and said he drives a green-hued mid-sized SUV that was likely manufactured in the 2000s. 

Police Chief Bridger Kelch said that the department received multiple reports Aug. 18 of a man approaching boys between the ages of 12 and 18. The man proposition them for sexual acts, occasionally by passing a note, Kelch said.
