A woman reportedly called 911 wanting to sue the library for “personality [sic] damage,” alleging security told her to leave and then chased her around the building. She told dispatchers she was there for an interview and was using the phone.

Someone called the Columbia Falls Police Department wanting information on “pressing charges against her neighbors who yell at her kids.” The issue reportedly involved someone not waving and there were allegations of name-calling. Officers spoke with a woman, advising her that further contact, or continuation of “foul behavior” toward her neighbors would result in a citation for disorderly conduct.

A woman thought she heard three shots and a female screaming.

A resident called officers when a suspicious man wearing a reddish-colored hat and a tank top, who had earlier wanted to pet their dog, was spotted peering through the screen door. The resident called again when the man returned and knocked on the slider, concerned he was casing the place. They closed the slider and shut the blinds, but the knocking continued.

Flathead County Sheriff’s Office responded to a power line emergency in Kalispell when a tan Toyota Highlander allegedly hit a telephone pole/power line, nearly knocking it to the ground, and a bunch of kids got out of the vehicle and ran.

Chickens were reportedly encroaching onto a Coram resident’s yard. The resident told Flathead County Sheriff’s Office they took video of the ongoing fowl situation.

A woman was concerned about rabies after a raccoon allegedly attacked her dog in Kalispell.

Someone in Hungry Horse reportedly threatened their neighbor with a bat, smashing a window

A black calf allegedly wandered in and out of traffic in Whitefish. Deputies patrolled the area and didn’t see any cows or calves at large.

Someone called deputies to report a man who was reportedly in the road yelling at people and jumping in front of cars in Columbia Falls. The caller didn’t know if he was trying to harm himself or was “just on a bad trip.”

Deputies received a second call from someone who heard the man yelling and hollering off and on. He was told to keep it down.

Someone reportedly pulled into a parking lot to go hiking and saw movement inside a sedan with busted-out windows. Deputies advised the occupant of the park hours.
