Andrew Nickolas Schrade, 21

| August 27, 2024 12:00 AM

Andrew Nickolas Schrade was born in Kalispell on Sept. 30, 2002. He attended Trinity Lutheran School and graduated from Glacier High School. On Thursday morning, Aug. 22, Andrew, age 21, beloved son of Duane Schrade and Denise Weller was called to heaven. While our hearts ache with sadness at his earthly absence, we find comfort in knowing he is now at peace and with Jesus–free from pain.

Andrew was an extraordinary young man. He had a unique ability to express so much with just a few words. He was loving, theatrical, protective of his sisters and extremely witty. Andrew was a true leader and his unique persona inspired everyone to live their best life. In his short time, he accomplished so much and never let anything stop him–not diabetes, cancer or paralysis from the cancer. Andrew started a landscape company–Sod Bros–and a supplement company Glucofit as well as assisting many friends and family with personal training during his two year battle with cancer. Andrew had a passion for nutrition and fitness that aided him to fight the rare aggressive cancer inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor.

Andrew never complained about anything.  His most common words were “I got this." He was a very independent, responsible, compassionate and reliable person.

Andrew is survived by his mother Denise Weller; father Duane Schrade; older loving sisters Abby and husband Cody Wiley and their son Boone (carbon copy of Andrew), Anna and husband Micah Tynanes; grandparents Roger and Jan Weller; Karl and Carol Schrade; aunts, uncles, cousins, and the most amazing friends and family.

A celebration of life will be held at Canvas Church on Friday, Aug. 30 at noon. Reception following at Andrew's home, 300 Summit Ridge Drive Kalispell.
