Ronan’s Rowe medalist, Bulldog boys second at own Invite
WHITEFISH — Ronan’s Oliver Rowe and Frenchtown’s Katie Lewis won medalist honors at the Whitefish Invitational golf meet Tuesday, while Corvallis and Hamilton split the team titles.
Behind Tate Jessop’s 76, the Corvallis Blue Devils won the boys team title by one stroke over Whitefish, 321-322. Jessop finished four strokes behind Rowe, who fired a 72.
The Bulldogs’ runner-up finish was led by Otto Klein, who fired a 77 on Whitefish Lake Golf Club’s South Course, and Aiden Rickels, who had 78. Five Bulldogs finished in the top 16 individually, but Corvallis did the same and had three golfers break 80.
