David Lee Brunty, 90
David Lee Brunty, 90, born June 5, 1934, passed away on Nov. 24, 2024, at his home of 30 years with his family by his side.
He is survived by his loving wife, Judith Anne Brunty, of 56 years. Daughter, Deidre Lee Metteer and husband, Bill Metteer and grandchildren, Anthony L. Brunty and Tyler B. Brunty; sons, Kevin Brunty and David Brunty (deceased); and grandchildren, and great grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Jim Brunty; and has an extended family of nephews and nieces. Jay Halloran, wife Suzanne, brother-in-law to David was his best friend, always there for each other and as close as brothers can be.
David was a Navy Vet, service during the Korean War, and then went on to become a Fireman for the City of Alhambra, California. He retired as captain of arson investigations.

Services will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 4, at 12:15 p.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Whitefish followed by a small reception and burial at St. Richard’s Cemetery in Columbia Falls.
