Law roundup: Ninety-nine bottles of beer left behind

Two guys in hoodies attempted to steal four racks of beer, according to Kalispell Police logs. They got away with two of them. The other two racks were tragically dropped and left broken in the parking lot.

A report of a man yelling at someone and hitting the walls of an apartment for three hours turned out to be a man home alone yelling at the internet.

The driver of a Jeep opted to blaze his own route. The SUV was seen driving along the pedestrian path on Three Mile. A record check revealed the driver allegedly had two prior convictions for DUI. The Jeep was towed from the scene.

A business owner found a shopping cart parked against their front door. The cart presumptively belonged to a homeless person and the business owner needed advice on what to do with it before opening for the day.

Dispatchers helped a man with the whereabouts of his broken down SUV. He had left it in a business’ parking lot a month or two ago and didn’t understand why it was no longer there.

A business manager found a white powdery substance on the back of a toilet. She wanted it tested, but police informed her that collecting such a small amount from a public space isn’t practical. She decided to get it tested herself.

An entire cart full of items was reported stolen from a store. The suspect was gone by the time security arrived.

A caller in North Kalispell reported her car window was punched out by a man in another vehicle. The victim promptly left the scene and gave police a description of the alleged window boxer.

A security guard was assaulted when a pack of dudes in hoodies attempted to steal some Twisted Tea. One man charged at the guard and put him to the ground.
